Samara is originally from the Capital of Brasil (Brasilia) but grew up in Sao Paulo, where she got acquainted with samba. Samara specialised in Brazilian partner dancing ie.Samba-Rock, Lambada, Gafieira, Pagode Paulista and Bolero and her main focus was mainly on elegance and good posture. An acclaimed “passista” she gained more experience by performing with a big Samba School “Vai-Vai” in Sao Paulo for 5 years. In 2008 she was awarded the title of Queen of ‘Bateria’ for Koburg International Samba Festival in Germany. Samara is currently based in London and she is working with several bands, teaching and performing all over England and Europe.
